physically you're here, but your heart and your mind is going somewhere else... what would you do?

Do not read if you're busy

Stay with the analogy. Let's just say, right now, I'm standing in front of a closed door. I'm waiting for the door to be opened. I try to attract attention of the owner to the door. Knock the door, ring the bell, leave some message on the door. But still... the door won't open for me, but it gives a little open for someone else... but not me...
While somewhere else, there's an open door. It seems like the opened door waving it's hand to me, waiting for me to come inside. But... I don't want to come in to that door, I want the current door I'm standing at... not that one...
Nah lho... ngerti ga maksudnya? Ngga? Syukurlah... cuma pengen curhat, hehe... :p

Tanpa

gelap
kucari terang
dingin
kucari hangat
dimanakah?
tak kutemukan disini
dia sembunyi?
atau tak nampak?
jauhkah?
atau dekat?
ataukah tak kusadari keberadaannya
hingga yang kurasa hanya hampa
tiada
sunyi
menusuk hati
mencabik asa

XP

Berikut kronologis kejadiannya --- lho?
  • Workshop + buka puasa bareng Senzala Bandung di Be Mall hari Sabtu tanggal 21 Agustus 2010, 16.30 - 20.30 WIB. Seru! Kombinasi latihan teknik, maculele, samba dan buka bersama bikin capek ga berasa --- baru berasa capek pas sampe rumah, teparrr XD
  • Sweet surprise on Tuesday, August 24th 2010. Hehe… setelah sukses menyelesaikan proyek ketikan rekan kerja di meja sebelah, karena waktu ngetik yang kelamaan, aku ga jadi minta bayaran, jadinya minta coklat aja. Tadinya cuma minta a bar of Ratu Perak Chunky Bar Dark, eh.. dikasih 10 batang! Bener-bener surprise!
  • Mulai ikutan kursus merajut online sejak awal September 2010. Masih belajar langkah-langkah yang amat sangat basic. Gemeezzzz! Ngeliat video tutorial tampak mudah, begitu praktek sendiri... geregetan! Tapi tetap semangadh!
And now... I just wanna say, I really miss capoeira practice... Hihi.. salah sendiri ya, tadi malam ada jadwal latihan terakhir sebelum mudik bukannya maksain ikut T_T

Terpaksa menahan kangen sampai masa libur lebaran berakhir. Entah kapan ada jadwal latihan lagi. Musti disiplin memaksa diri untuk latihan sendiri di rumah, supaya otot ga kaku lagi pas mau mulai latihan.
Yosh! Semangattt!

Whoa! Orange monkey?!

Tika
09/05/1983

You are Orange Monkey, who is lively, fresh and give an active impression.
Your personality is straight forward, and is a very attractive person to be with.
You are also very sociable, and can keep an eye on people too.
Nevertheless, you tend to be rather nervous and worry about things bit too much.
You tend to have a needless fear.
You come up with ideas very quickly, but at the same time, you can easily give up.
You lack perseverance.
You should be more open and natural to have a foresight for the future.
You have an instinct to attract people.
You are a charismatic person to whom people naturally get attracted.
You have a flexibility to be able to adapt to any circumstance, and know how to get ahead in life.
You never miss to calculate the profit and loss, and live life rationally.
This makes you difficult to have an intimate relationship.
Once you set an objective, you will work extremely hard to achieving it, and can exercise great tactics.
Nevertheless, you tend to easily change your target as well.
You tend to be very independent woman, and will hate to be restricted to your family.
You may start to feel your family to be an obstruction to your life.
If you can have a job that would act as a freshener, your life would be smoother.
You tend to have a fantasy world in your head, and may hold a girlish dream all through your life.
After getting married, your family will be important to you, and you will be able to raise a happy family.

Hehe... deskripsinya sih hampir bener semua :D Cuma kurang enak aja simbolnya :p

Wait?!!! Orange... orange.... kayanya itu warna favoritnya... hihi... anyway, if you want to try this just visit this site.

Malming masih panjaannnggg...

Hehe… bolos latihan hari ini. Padahal sudah merencanakan dari kemarin hari ini mau latihan. Mengingat kemarin seharian bedrest. It was a bit boring... unless… I spend my day finished reading a book.

Tapii… kayanya garink malming sendirian di rumah ga ngapa-ngapain. Mo nonton DVD males, salah nih, last week malah beli film romantis yang ini, judulnya aja aku baru denger, belum pernah lihat trailer or baca resensinya, jadi males nontonnya, ntar aja deh, next time I need to buy some action movie :p

Ok, daripada bengong, akhirnya aku memutuskan untuk latihan sendiri. Kabita setelah dapet SMS dari yang datang latihan. Ah, latihan sendiri aja, kondisi kesehatan udah mendingan ko. Demam udah turun dari sejak kemarin malam, tinggal produksi ingus aja yang masih belum berhenti :p

Fuihh... ternyata... baru latihan sejam, keringat sudah mengucur derass... Padahal cuma latihan gerakan basic. Entah gara-gara baru sembuh atau memang latihannya heboh sendiri, hehe... Masih pengen lanjut latihan, tapi udah cape banget, lanjut besok aja deh, daripada kambuh lagi sakitnya.

Still... with capoeira songs played on my winamp player, writing some journal, upload it on friendster blog and multiply, and... browsing… browsing…

Malam minggu masih panjang…

Bad things happen, right? Wrong!

Bad things happen, right? Wrong! Everything that happens to a believer is good or it has more good in it than bad. Alhamdulillah, it is always a win-win situation for the believer. Consider the hadith of Rasoolullah (SAW) told to us by Suhaib in which Rasoolullah (SAW) said, “The affair of the believer is amazing! The whole of his life is beneficial, and that is only in the case of the believer. When good times come to him, he is thankful and it is good for him, and when bad times befall him, he is patient and it is also good for him” (narrated by Muslim).

Indeed, we all fall sick, get into accidents, or are sadden at times of despair. However, the believer easily overcomes such hardships. Rasoolullah (SAW) said that, “When the believer is afflicted with pain, even that of a prick of a thorn or more, God forgives his sins” (narrated by Bukhari). It is reported that Abu Hurayrah, the companion of the Prophet, had a favorite illness! He is reported to have said, “There is no illness that afflicts me more beloved to me than fever; it enters every part of me and [because of it] Allah the Mighty and Sublime gives every part of me its share of reward” (narrated by Bukhari in Al-Adab Al-Mufrad). Subhana’Allah, if only we could all celebrate when we got sick or something misfortunate happened to us!

In terms of hardship, we should look to the Quran for guidance as it states, “Those who patiently preserve will truly receive a reward without measure” (Translation of the Meaning of the Holy Quran, 39:10) and “And bear in patience whatever maybe fall you: this, behold, is something to set one’s heart upon“(Translation of the Meaning of the Holy Quran, 31:17). In times of hardship, many of us remember Allah (SWT), but do we remember Allah (SWT) in times of ease? Rasoolullah (SAW) said, “Remember Allah in times of ease, and He will remember you in times of hardship” (narrated by Ahmad).

Whenever something afflicts us, we should smile and say Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah). Consider the story of the King and his servant, Abdullah. Abdullah would say Alhamdulillah to everything that would happen to him, whether good or bad. One day while hunting, the King accidently shot-off his finger and Abdullah responded with his normal, Alhamdulillah. Upset, the King jailed Abdullah to which Abdullah responded Alhamdulillah. Soon thereafter, the King went out hunting again by himself. He strayed into tribal enemy grounds and was captured. The tribe was about to sacrifice him before they realized he was missing a finger. Knowing full-well they should not sacrifice an incomplete human being, they released the King. Ecstatic, the King knew that his misfiring the other day saved his life. He went back home and freed Abdullah. Afterwards, he asked Abdullah, “I understand the loss of my finger was something worth saying Alhamdulillah over, but why did you say it when I jailed you?” Abdullah responded, “Had I been with you that one day instead of in jail, I would have been sacrificed, since I did have all of my fingers!”

Verily, the Quran states, “but it may happen that ye hate a thing which is good for you, and it may happen that ye love a thing which is bad for you. Allah knoweth, ye know not” (Translation of the Meaning of the Holy Quran, 2:216). Therefore, O Muslim, always be optimistic and respond with Alhamdulillah!
